Corporate event photography – Capturing One of Spain’s Premier Venues
The first part of this project focused on capturing the architectural beauty of the Auditorio de la Diputación de Alicante. Located in the heart of the city, this modern, visually striking building is a symbol of Alicante’s cultural life and architectural innovation. Designed with minimalistic lines, sharp geometry, and limestone facades, the venue has become a true landmark on the Costa Blanca.
As a professional photographer in Spain, I was tasked with photographing all 10 of the ADDA’s rooms, covering more than 28,000 square meters of event space. From natural daylight streaming into conference halls to artificial lighting in rehearsal studios and backstage areas, each space presented its own lighting challenges. The assignment was not unlike a high-end real estate photography shoot, requiring precision, consistency, and attention to the unique characteristics of every room.
These images were used for the venue’s official website and print materials, and one of my photographs now proudly serves as the featured image on Google Maps when searching for the National Auditorium in Alicante.
Corporate and Event Photography Spain
My work with the ADDA has also included ongoing corporate and event photography in Spain. I am regularly commissioned to photograph events ranging from medical symposia and business conferences to high-profile press briefings. These events demand a documentary approach—capturing not only keynote speakers and audience reactions, but also the atmosphere and flow of the day.
In addition to internal events, I was also asked by the auditorium to produce a portfolio of Alicante photography to highlight the city’s many attractions. This included photographing historic landmarks like Santa Bárbara Castle, the Central Market, and the bustling Alicante Harbour—showcasing the destination as a perfect blend of culture, history, and modern infrastructure for international event planners.

I am regularly commissioned to photograph corporate events at the auditorium, ranging from medical conferences to press conferences. I have even been commissioned by the auditorium to create a portfolio of Alicante photography. This required me to visit some of Alicante landmarks such as the castle, the Alicante market, as well as the Alicante harbour.
Live Performance & Concert Photography
One of the most creatively satisfying aspects of my collaboration with ADDA is photographing the ADDA Simfònica Orchestra. Concert photography requires immense precision: no flash photography is allowed, and I must move silently throughout the venue during performances. The lighting is often minimal, changing in mood and intensity with the music, making it both a technical and artistic challenge. These moments are fleeting, but when captured well, they create incredibly powerful images.
Video Production Spain – Full-Service Visual Content Creation
The second half of my role with the National Auditorium involved video production in Spain, where I delivered two distinct promotional videos for the client. The first was a corporate video production showcasing the auditorium’s facilities and location. This included sweeping exterior drone footage, interior walk-throughs of key spaces, and even scenic visuals of Alicante’s beaches and city landmarks—all crafted to appeal to international event planners looking to host on the Costa Blanca.
Video production Spain – Samuel Barber – Adagio for Strings
The second video was a four-camera recording of a rehearsal performance of Samuel Barber’s Adagio for Strings, performed by the ADDA Simfònica. My team and I handled the entire video production process—from setup and capture to post-production editing. The final video was published across the orchestra’s social media platforms, serving both as a promotional piece and a tribute to their world-class musicianship.
